MARDI HIMAL BASE CAMP TREK

Mardi Himal is the name given to the feature of the long rising ridge and its summit that from the southwesterly lower slope of Mount Machhapuchchhre, the famous triangular skyline that is seen from the Phewa Lake at Pokhara. This is one of the exotic and interesting treks in Nepal, uncrowned terrains providing the golden chance to explore traditional villages, incredible scenery, infinite and diversity of culture, spectacular views of silvery mountains and tempting views of river and exotic valley can be seen on the way of trekking trail.

Before trek: Arrival in Kathmandu, we will pick up at airport, transfer to hotel, briefing.

We can arrange for you sightseeing, day starts around 9am. Our City guide will take you to visit world heritage sites Biggest Hindu Temple Pashupati, Biggest Boudha Stupa and Swayambhu (Monkey Temple). Final preparation day for trekking, check the gears.

Day 02: Drive to Dhampus Phedi and trek to Pothana
Day 03: Deurali
Day 04: Mardi Himal Base Camp – High Camp (3900m)
Day 05: Rest at Mardi Himal Base Camp, hike to Upper viewpoint (4200m)
Day 06: Lachock
Day 07: Dhampus Khola (1600m)
Day 08: Drive from Dhampus Khola to Pokhara (850m)
Day 09: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1350m)

Tips, yes, still it is common in Nepal. If you are happy with their service, we recommend around 8–10 USD for guide per day and about 6–8 USD for porter. Although our guides and porters receive a fair wage, it must be remembered that their work is seasonal.
