PIKEY PEAK

Trekking around Everest in lower elevation? Yes, it is possible in Pikey Peak Trek. It is a great, less discovered and less crowded route. 6-8 days trek allows to make it without stress and additionally you have a chance to visit some Buddhist sites (monasteries, gompas, stupas and Mani-wall) and sunrise from Pike peak summit. You can enjoy amazing views of Himalaya range from East to West, Including Everest “Sagarmatha” Numbur Himal, Karyalung, Makalu,Amadablam, Barruntse, Tahamserku, Mera peak, so on and to the west, Gourishanker, Dorje Lakpa, Khang Chhembu, langtang, Ganesh Himal and Manaslu. Not only Himalaya also flora and fauna, depend on what season if its in spring time, blossom of Rhododendrons there are different types and the colours. Sound of birds singing as its good time for them for breeding, and Yaks grazing in the meadow.

Outoumn beautiful lush as just finished monsoon, Generally Blue sky to the north walling with Himalaya range, as its Yaks territory we come a cross with flock of Yaks in the meadow. Herder/owner they have a dry Yak cheese (Churpi) available.

Before trek: Arrival in Kathmandu, we will pick up at airport, transfer to hotel, briefing.

We can arrange for you sightseeing, day starts around 9am. Our City guide will take you to visit world heritage sites Biggest Hindu Temple Pashupati, Biggest Boudha Stupa and Swayambhu (Monkey Temple). Final preparation day for trekking, check the gears.

Day 01: Drive to Dhap Pattale
Day 02: Trek to Thulo Gumba (Buddhist monastery)
Day 03: Pikey Peak Base camp
Day 04: Morning hike to Pikey Peak (4065m), sleep at Jusbhanjyang
Day 05: Junbesi (2675m)
Day 06: Visit monastery of Thupten Chholing & return to Junbesi (2675m)
Day 07: Phaplu (2413m)
Day 08: Flight to Kathmandu (1350m)
