Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek

Mardi Himal is the name given to the feature of the long rising ridge and its summit that from the southwesterly lower slope of Mt. Machapuchere, the famous triangular skyline that is seen from the Phewa Lake at Pokhara. This is one of the exotic and interesting treks in Nepal, uncrowned terrains providing the golden chance to explore traditional villages, incredible scenery, infinite and diversity of culture, spectacular views of silvery mountains and tempting views of river and exotic valley can be seen on the way of trekking trail.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, we will pick up at airport, transfer to hotel, Briefing.

Day 02: After break your Sightseeing day starts around 9am.  Our City guide will take you to visit world heritage sites Biggest Hindu Temple Pashupati, Biggest Boudha Stupa and Swayambhu (Monkey Temple). Final preparation day for trekking, check the gears.

 

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.). You depart early for the 7 hours drive by tourist deluxe bus to Pokhara (915m.), 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu. This drive will take most of the morning, leaving much of the afternoon for a relaxing boat ride on Phewa Lake, shopping in the markets and shops or just relaxing with a drink on the shores of the lake. You stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara. 

Day 04: Drive to Dhampus Phedi and trek to Pothana. The first part of your trek is easy passing through numerous small villages and settlements. Afterwards you could ascend gently to the final destination of the day.  

Day 05: Pothana to Forest Camp

Day 06: Forest camp to Badal Danda. 

Day 07: Dadal Danda to High Camp. 

Day 08: High camp view point then back to Low camp. 

Day 09: Low camp to Sidding/ Lumre. 

Day 10: Drive  to Pokhara. 

Day 11: Fly or drive  to Kathmandu. 

Day 12: Departure
